In this knock-down and rebuild project, The Site Foreman used a reverse construction method to achieve a budget conscious, sustainable design. The reverse construction method is, as it suggests, done in reverse to the normal method and so placing the masonry inside and a lightweight cladding outside with an insulation layer in between. The reversal of the materials renders an energy efficient building with lower energy demands for both heating and cooling.
The interior selections were specified by our sister company House to Home finishes. In keeping with the sustainable design focus smart wiring was installed throughout to support sensor activated lighting and induction cooking appliances, remote controlled blinds and temperature control.
