Architectural Designer/ Building Designer for Outbound Sales Consultant Position

Based in Sydney’s inner west, The Site Foreman is a well established Residential Architectural and Project Management Company specialising in custom designed new homes, major renovations, alterations and additions.

Due to recent growth, we are seeking to engage an Outbound Sales/ Design Consultant, base salary + commission role.

Ideally you will come from a residential architectural design, building or design services background. You will have the ability to discuss and understand basic building principles. Your drawing and design skills will see you being able to hand sketch floor plans and perspectives to guide clients, and transfer design ideas through to our architectural department for further development.

This is an outbound sales position so you must be comfortable meeting with people in their home. You will require a reliable vehicle and be in a position to attend client appointments outside of standard working hours. Travel across the greater Sydney area will be required, some early morning, weekday, evening and Saturday appointments will be necessary.

Other requirements will be researching Council requirements, staying abreast of legislative changes, attending trade shows and networking events. You will also develop other strategies to secure new business in association with Senior Management.

To be successful in this role you will be highly motivated and results driven, friendly with a highly professional attitude. You must be well presented, have creative flair, be reliable and punctual. Above all you will be a good listener, have an exceptional eye for detail, be client focused and have a natural ability to engage with others.

Where a solid client services or sales background would be highly regarded, this is a fabulous opportunity for an architect/architectural design or building design professional to go out into the field and engage clients directly, selling the many services we offer to create dream homes.
