The Site Foreman Celebrate International Women’s Day

March 8th marks the date we celebrate the growing equality of women in the workforce and in leadership. Some industries are celebrating this movement for equality and inclusion more than others, such as the building and construction industry, which of course includes architecture as a subdivision.

Here at The Site Foreman, we are so incredibly proud to share that 53% of our work force are female and, 70% of whom are in senior or managerial positions who have gained their position through the acknowledgement of their capability, incredible hard work and innovative thinking.

There has been a fantastic shift in the construction industry with regards to the male/female ratio as well as the acknowledgement of the gender pay gap. However, this is not to say that more can’t be done and a gap still needs to be acknowledged.

Here at The Site Foreman, gender shows no relevance to the capability nor value when it comes to carrying out respective roles. We do, however, celebrate our diversity as it is something we are so proud of within our team today.
